Facebook Pixel for LeadDigital

How to write killer headlines in 2 mins or less!

1️⃣ Make It Bold & Clear

People scroll fast. If your headline isn’t instantly clear, it’s ignored.

Example: “Why 90% of Business Owners Get PPC Wrong”

Example: “Common PPC Mistakes You Might Be Making” (too vague)

2️⃣ Tap Into Emotion

People click on headlines that trigger a reaction—curiosity, fear, urgency, or desire.

  • Fear: “If You’re Doing This in Marketing, You’re Losing Money”
  • Curiosity: “The One SEO Trick Google Doesn’t Want You to Know”
  • Urgency: “Fix This on Your Website Before It’s Too Late”

3️⃣ Call Out the Reader

Make it clear who the headline is for.

  • “Business Owners: Stop Wasting Money on This Marketing Mistake”
  • “Freelancers, Here’s Why Your Clients Won’t Pay More”

4️⃣ Numbers Work (But Use Them Well)

Numbers anchor expectations and stand out in a sea of words.

  • “7 Sales Strategies That Actually Work”
  • “3 Reasons Your Facebook Ads Are Burning Cash”

5️⃣ Avoid Clickbait, Deliver Value

If the headline over promises and the content under delivers , you’ll lose trust.

✅ “How to Write LinkedIn Posts That Get Leads”

❌ “This Simple Trick Will Make You a Millionaire” (unless it will, of course)

6️⃣ Test & Optimise

Try different variations. Split-test subject lines in emails or tweak LinkedIn post headlines to see what gets the most engagement.
